Volunteer students are crucial in making the DESIGN COMMIT conference a great experience for attendees. The conference relies on volunteer students acting as a team at various conference events and in parallel session rooms. The volunteer student program needs reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic students to help us make the conference a memorable event for all attendees.
Volunteer students
Registration Period
The registration system for volunteer students is open until March 31st. The first group of accepted applicants will be notified by email on April 15th, and all other applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
Qualifications
Applicants must be enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral study program during the 2024 academic year. Selected volunteers must provide proof of enrollment.
Selection Guidelines
The number of available positions is limited. The following considerations will influence selections:
– Success as a volunteer students at previous conferences;
– Preference is given to Doctoral students and then Master’s, although all are encouraged to apply;
– The number of volunteers from each institution/research group may be limited to ensure broad participation;
– Languages spoken by candidates (excellent English is required, some volunteers who speak German, French, or other languages will also be necessary);
